As a Store Manager Trainee, you'll train on all aspects of successfully running a store in preparation for running your own store. You'll supervise day-to-day store activities, help ensure overall store performance, identify staffing needs, manage schedules and develop operational action plans while mentoring and developing the team.

- Store Manager Trainee Starting Wage : $28.50 per hour
- Estimated Store Manager Earning Potential Year 1 : Up to $109,000 (inclusive of salary and bonus when applicable)

Duties And Responsibilities
Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) for the roleSupervise day-to-day operations and team performance to provide high levels of customer serviceUnderstand and communicate the company strategy and core values to foster teamworkHandle customer concerns and resolve issues appropriatelyMaintain store signage, product quality and freshnessAssist in hiring store personnel by reviewing resumes / applications and interviewing candidatesPrepare, manage, and revise weekly schedules to ensure appropriate staffingSet and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectationsConduct store meetings and identify development opportunities for direct reportsConduct annual performance evaluations and recommend advancement or termination as appropriateAchieve store payroll and total loss budgetsManage cash audits with their direct leader per company guidelinesMonitor local competitive environment and recommend adjustments to maintain competitivenessProvide product feedback and recommendations on items to carry or discontinueProvide a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors; address hazards and maintain equipmentOversee product merchandising and maintain stock levels; conduct inventory counts per guidelinesComply with company policies and protect data confidentialityOther duties as assignedPhysical Demands
