Position Summary :
The Logistics Clerk is responsible for supporting daily shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities to ensure efficient and accurate movement of materials and products. This role works closely with the warehouse, operations, and customer service teams to maintain organized records, coordinate shipments, and uphold company standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, purchase orders, etc.).
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with carriers, drivers, and vendors.
- Verify quantities, quality, and condition of products received or shipped.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts.
- Enter and update data in warehouse management or ERP systems.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding order status and delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies and tracking lost or delayed shipments.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred).1–2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or inventory operations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and attention to detail.Experience with ERP or WMS software is a plus.
