Emergency Services Paramedic
Starting at $25.00 / hour with credit given for experience.
We are seeking dedicated Paramedics who are passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate service and advanced patient care to our communities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess each emergency call to determine the best course of action, utilizing progressive Paramedic protocols.
- Employ your Paramedic skills with medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to deliver advanced medical care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide information and reassurance regarding the care being provided.
- Lead the Paramedic team and take charge of scene and unit management as required.
- Drive the ambulance during emergency 911 responses.
- Collaborate professionally with all allied health personnel and public safety officials, as well as your fellow Paramedics.
Additional Responsibilities :
Engage in community programs to uphold AMR's reputation and strengthen community relations.Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).Missouri Paramedic certification.Valid State Driver's License.Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.PALS certification is preferred, but not mandatory.Driving record in line with company policies.Successful completion of the Physical Agility Test.Why Join AMR?
