Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-focused Project Manager with proven experience in managing merger and acquisition (M&A) integration projects. The selected candidate will work closely with the South-Central Region Chief Operating Officer / Client Service Leader, supporting M&A initiatives as well as region- and branch-specific projects from initiation to completion. This role will involve overseeing integrations and other critical regional priorities, ensuring they align with the organization's objectives. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects within defined scope, budget, and timelines, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

How You'll Make An Impact

Project Planning And Initiation : Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Project Execution And Monitoring : Lead and manage project teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule. Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals. Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders.

Risk And Issue Management : Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues. Develop contingency plans and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports and records. Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders. Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Team Leadership : Motivate and guide project team members to achieve project objectives. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

About You

Required : Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management or a related field. 3+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the insurance / risk management environment. Demonstrated experience with mergers and acquisitions projects. Proficient with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). Able to travel up to 15% within an assigned region with occasional travel to Gallagher headquarters, located in Rolling Meadows, IL.
