Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Location : York, PA

Schedule : Monday

Pay : Starting at $26.27 - $31.18 + ($1.50 Shift Premium)

About the Role :

We are looking for a dependable and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support our operations by maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical and electrical background who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Inspect, test, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues

Install and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

Perform welding, torch cutting, and fabrication tasks

Operate machine tools to fabricate or repair parts

Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Maintain facility structures, fixtures, and tools

Operate forklifts and other maintenance-related equipment

Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical systems, mechanical repairs, welding, or general maintenance

Requires a high school diploma / GED and previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety procedures

Proficient in using measurement tools and diagnosing technical issues

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Basic PC knowledge preferred

Certifications & Licenses :

Forklift license (must be obtained within 3 months of hire)

Certifications in electrical work, welding, or related fields are a plus

Work Environment :

Industrial setting with moderate noise levels

Exposure to mechanical and electrical systems and tools

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Regular use of hands and tools; occasional standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, or crouching

Visual acuity for close work and focus adjustments
