As a Security Officer - Patrol Team in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assisting with access control. You will interact with employees, visitors, and vendors, providing top-tier customer service and clear communication at all times. By monitoring for unusual activity and responding promptly to situations, you will contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations according to company and location requirements
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related matters and support the overall operation of the location
  • Follow all food and beverage industry protocols and site-specific guidelines while performing duties

  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only
