WHO YOU ARE
You are a compassionate and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist who provides Speech-Language mentorship services to students with autism, developmental delays, and other learning disabilities while working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality treatment, documentation, and compliance in a school-based environment.
- Position is Part-time, evening hours from 2pm to 6pm daily
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Screening - Complete screening requests to determine students' need for evaluationEvaluation - Conduct standardized assessments of students to determine eligibility due to speech and language deficits, such as articulation, language, and pragmatic needsTreatment - Write evidence based speech and language therapy plans for students who have speech related needs, incorporating various treatment strategies and accommodationsDocumentation - Complete documentation in accordance with deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentialityCommunication - Maintain communication with student's families and / or caregivers regarding progress and needsCollaboration - Work with multidisciplinary team members to determine the most appropriate treatment plan based on client needs and improve service deliveryOther responsibilities as assignedWHAT YOU'LL NEED
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology or Communication DisordersOne year of progressive experience as an Speech-Language PathologistPennsylvania Instructional 1 Teaching Certificate OR PA Educational Specialist CertificationPA State Speech-Language Pathologist LicenseCertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language PathologyExperience working with individuals with developmental delays (Preferred)Experience working in a school setting (Preferred)Clearances & Training Required
