Overview
Tecolote Research is seeking an experienced Cost Analyst to join our National Capital Programs Group. The is full-time onsite position in the Washington Metro Area and requires a Top-Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility.
Responsibilities
- As a Cost Analyst, you will be :
Supporting the U.S Navy across a portfolio of critical programs by developing cost estimates and models
Performing cost analysisAnalyzing vendor proposals to support contract negations and awards.You'll be required to analyze and integrate large datasets from a variety of sources to develop well documented and defendable cost estimates.The cost models you utilize and develop will support a variety of supplemental efforts, including What-If analysis, Business Case Analysis, and budget requests.The analysis and recommendations you present will enable senior leadership to make critical strategic decisions.The expected salary range is $65,000 - $145,000 and is dependent a variety of factors, including total years of relevant experience, academic achievement, and relevant professional certifications.Skills Required
Must Have :
Top-Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI eligibilityMinimum of 3 years' experience performing cost estimating or financial / business case analysisFamiliarity with industry standard Cost analysis tools (Microsoft Excel, ACEIT, etc.)B.S in Economics, Business, or a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) fieldWillingness to work full-time onsite in a classified environmentExcellent communication and presentation skillsNice to Have :
Experience supporting DoD Program OfficesExperience working in a classified environmentFamiliarity with FAR / DFAR and GAO / DoD Cost Estimating GuidesProject Management Professional (PMP)International Cost Estimating and Analysis (ICEAA) CertificationAdvanced Degree (MBA, etc..)Education
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
