Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel RN Position Job Notes : Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
• 36-bed medical surgical / telemetry unit located on 3 South in South Tower
• Patient ratio of 6 : 1
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6 nurses (RN / LPN mix), and 3 techs
• Required to work every other weekend or 2 full weekends per month
• Float to all medical surgical / telemetry floors as needed
• Work with equipment including EKG machines, DynaMaps, bladder scanner, vein finder, and telemetry monitors
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform typical medical surgical procedures including heart catheterizations
• Medical surgical / telemetry experience required
• Meditech experience required
• Time management and critical thinking skills preferred
• Must maintain positive attitude and be friendly and helpful
