Warehouse Position
This position is assigned to the Fleet & Family Readiness Division, Navy Region Hawaii; Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) Logistics / Warehouse department (N944) located on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam on Pearl Harbor, HI (Oahu). The primary responsibility of this position is to perform a full range of warehouse functions.

In-depth knowledge of the overall warehousing plan, documentation requirements and accepted warehousing methods, procedures and techniques Ability to lay out storage space and establish item and material locations in accordance with agency regulations Ability to prepare inventory and production reports, screen and identify shipping and receiving documents for discrepancies, and direct shipments to shipping or storage areas Skill in use of vehicles and fork lifts A valid driver's license is required Physical effort of the position includes standing on hard surfaces for extended periods of time, bending, stooping, and working in tiring and sometimes uncomfortable positions. You may lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds and heavier items are moved with weight handling equipment or with assistance from other workers. Working conditions may be performed inside or outside in areas that may be hot, damp, cold, drafty, or poorly lit. You may be required to wear protective clothing.
Salary is dependent on experience and / or education. Some positions have special requirements. Selectee may be required to complete a one (1) year probationary period.
