Program Director II - Home Based Residential

Seven Hills Community Services, an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation

The Program Director II – Home-Based Residential is responsible for the leadership, coordination, and oversight of individualized residential support services provided to adults with developmental and / or intellectual disabilities in home-based settings. This role ensures high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and the implementation of person-centered planning that promotes independence, safety, and community integration. The Program Director II supervises staff, manages day-to-day program operations, and collaborates with families, clinical teams, and funding agencies to ensure that services meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.

Pay : $80,000 / year

  • Responsibilities

    Oversee daily operations of assigned home-based residential programs, ensuring compliance with all agency and DDS regulations

    Supervise and support program managers, direct support professionals, and other residential staff

    Ensure that Individual Support Plans (ISPs) are person-centered, up to date, and effectively implemented

    Monitor service delivery to ensure supports are tailored to the strengths, goals, and preferences of each individual

    Coordinate healthcare, behavioral, and clinical supports in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

    Support staff hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

    Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements, including emergency procedures and medication protocols

    Serve as liaison to families, guardians, and external stakeholders, fostering positive and respectful communication

    Manage program budgets and track expenditures to ensure cost-effective services

    Lead regular staff meetings and conduct individual supervisions to promote staff development and accountability

    Respond to and document incidents, concerns, or emergencies in accordance with policy

    Uphold a culture of respect, inclusion, and dignity for individuals served

    Participate in audits, licensing reviews, and implement corrective actions when needed

    Perform additional duties as assigned by senior leadership

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience :

    Master's in Social Work (MSW) required

    Minimum 3–5 years of experience in residential services or community-based supports for individuals with developmental disabilities, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience

    Skills and Knowledge :

    Strong working knowledge of DDS regulations, ISP development, and person-centered service delivery

    Proven leadership, organizational, and team management skills

    Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities

    Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities in a fast-paced environment

    Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and Microsoft Office

    Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation

    Ability to participate in on-call responsibilities and respond to emergencies as needed
