Job Title : Respiratory Therapist - NICU

Must-Have :

• 2 years of experience required

Description :

Position focuses on Neonatal Intensive Care Unit respiratory therapy.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience.

BLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT certifications are required.

State licensure is mandatory.

No call or float requirements associated with this position.

Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.

Travel experience is required.

Preferred experience includes pediatric critical care and trauma level II.

Familiarity with Epic charting system is necessary.

Important skills include ABG interpretation, high-frequency oscillators, and neonatal transport.

Responsibilities include assisting in high-risk deliveries and providing respiratory care for neonates and infants.

Knowledge of conditions such as bronchopulmonary dysplasia and respiratory distress syndrome is essential.

Candidates must be proficient in the use of various respiratory therapies and equipment.

Preference may be given to those with prior charge experience in a similar setting.

All applicants must adhere to health and safety regulations, including vaccination requirements.
