Join our dynamic team at MUSC Clements Ferry as we prepare to open a brand new clinic in December 2025, located at 1101 Waterline St, Charleston. As a large outpatient clinic with over 20 specialties, we prioritize a balanced work-life schedule with no evenings, weekends, or holidays, plus free on-site parking. In our Primary Care & Pediatrics Clinic, you will collaborate with a team of RNs, LPNs, and CMAs, making a meaningful impact on our patients' lives. MUSC is dedicated to providing the highest quality patient care as part of the Medical University of South Carolina health system. As a CMA, you will be responsible for essential nursing care under the supervision of a physician or licensed healthcare provider. This position is perfect for individuals who excel in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and have a passion for patient care.
Job Responsibilities :
Qualifications :
CMA I Required Minimum Training and Education : High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an accredited medical assisting program and one year of patient care experience preferred.
CMA Certifications : Must be certified through one of the recognized organizations, and hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
LPN I Minimum Training and Education : Graduate from an accredited Practical Nurse program with a valid LPN license within South Carolina or a compact state.
LPN Certifications : Must hold a current South Carolina LPN License or compact state license, and a BLS certification.
Physical Requirements : Continuous standing, walking, and sitting; ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs; good dexterity and vision; and ability to work in various environments as needed.
