Director - Nursing Outpatient Services

Creates and leads a dynamic clinical environment that fosters and supports clinical and professional growth. Actively participates as a member of the HRMG leadership team with responsibility for leadership of all non-physician clinical activities. The Director – Nursing Oupatient Services is responsible to define and maintain high standards in clinical care and practice in accordance with all regulatory requirements and JCAHO standards. Position oversees all non-physician clinical team members and non-physician clinical operations of HRMG and is accountable to the HRMG Clinic Administrator for providing leadership and direction to clinical team members. Consistently promotes mission and values of HRMG in all activities.

SPECIFICATIONS (Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Licensure, Certification, Registration)

BSN required, Masters in Nursing preferred

Current licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri, or registry eligible required

Five years of clinical practice experience; two years clinical office experience desired

Two years of demonstrated successful leadership experience of a clinical service unit, at least one of which was as the responsible manager. Not-for-profit experience preferred but not required

Experience in formulating, implementing and managing clinical operations policies, procedures and systems

Ability to analyze and interpret practice data and manage resources

Knowledge of negotiation and change management

Knowledge of public relations principles and practices

Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required

Ability to develop and deliver presentations for HRMG teams

Excellent professional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills required

Ability to motivate team members and simultaneously manage multiple projects and activities

Willingness to work a very flexible schedule and to travel for business purposes
