Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our Corona, CA team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for custom signage used in store décor environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of custom signage manufacturing and digital printing processes, excellent communication skills, and experience working under tight deadlines in a production-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze design drawings, client specifications, and internal templates to develop material, labor, and production estimates

Generate detailed estimates for custom signage projects, using various types of substrates as the base material

Calculate costs for materials, production processes (CNC routing, digital printing), labor, and overhead

Work collaboratively with Sales, Project Management, and Production teams to ensure accurate and achievable quotes

Participate in project kickoff meetings to confirm assumptions and estimate details

Use ERP software (preferably Acumatica), in-house estimating program (Filemaker Pro) and Excel to manage quote data, generate pricing, and track estimate status

Respond to RFQs with clarity, accuracy, and speed to meet tight client deadlines

Maintain pricing databases and track material / labor cost changes to ensure up-to-date estimates

Assist in post-project cost analysis to improve future estimating accuracy

Requirements & Qualifications

3+ years of estimating experience, preferably in manufacturing or décor signage

Strong knowledge of materials and production methods related to wood / plastic signage, CNC routing, and digital printing preferred

Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (Acumatica experience preferred)

Ability to read technical drawings and translate them into accurate estimates

Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Ability to manage multiple quotes simultaneously under deadline pressure

On-site availability and commitment to full-time schedule

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the décor, signage, or architectural fabrication industries

Familiarity with Afobe Pro and / or CAD

Previous experience working directly with Sales or Project Managers in a manufacturing environment

Fast-paced and deadline-driven

Moderate quoting volume with frequent last-minute client adjustments
