As an intern in the Special Assets Division of First Citizens Bank, you will be exposed to stressed and distressed C&I loans originated in our
Commercial Bank. The Commercial Bank supports large corporate and middle market clients.
You will support our team with day-to-day activities surrounding problem loans, including but not limited to such tasks as :
spreading financial statements, analysis (learning cash flow, financial ratio and sensitivity analysis, compliance reporting monitoring,
exposure to risk rating and impairment analysis, and using online risk reporting tools.
Our intern will be provided exposure to various divisions such as Telecom / Media / Technology, Aerospace, Maritime, Capital Equipment Finance,
Energy, Project Finance and ABL. You will have an opportunity to listen in on client calls and to interact with other parts of the Bank,
including relationship teams, portfolio managers, Legal, Compliance and Operations.

generally between
$26.00 / hr and $34.00 / hr. Actual starting base pay will be
determined
based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors
permitted
by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and / or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
