Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Every Other Weekend | Days or Nights (12 hour Shifts)

Newly enhanced pay rates starting at $31 / hr

Frederick Living, part of Garden Spot Communities, is located in Zieglerville, PA (Montgomery County). We are a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering a full spectrum of care from retirement living, personal care, licensed healthcare, rehabilitation services, respite to memory care services.

Job Title : LPN

Status : Every Other Weekend (Saturdays and Sundays)

Salary Range : Experience based pay starting at $31 / hr PLUS Shift Differentials including $2 for Evenings, $1.50 for Nights and an additional $1 for Weekends!

    • As a LPN, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities :

  • Observe and report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor or physician / physician

  • Communicate with Supervisor, ADON, DON, NHA, care providers and family / POA as needed
  • Uses evidenced-based practices to ensure care delivery is provided to residents
  • Assist in the management of personnel through on-going performance evaluation, Care Chats, coaching,

    • counseling, education, and Corrective Action as needed

  • Complete all required documentation accurately and timely
  • Participate in resident TOC / Care Conferences and care plan review as needed
  • Collaborate with Cedarwood staff to ensure optimal care for residents
  • Comply with Infection Control practices
  • Maintain hand-held communication equipment is maintained by all direct-caregivers for effective call bell

    What do I need for this role with Frederick Living ?

  • Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Prior experience in geriatric nursing preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BLS Healthcare Provider
  • Basic computer skills
