About The Position

General job duties.  Types of procedures required.

Must do both pre and post op.  Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

Equipment utilized in the unit / dept.

Meditech, Pyxis Medication

Required skills and minimum years of experience.

Minimum 2 years PACU experience

Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required.

Active AK license. BLSP, ACLS and PALS required.

Shift or schedule requirements.

10 hour shifts, three shifts per day

7 bays

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.

Dress Code : Scrubs - provided

Unit / Department specific training and orientation program.

CPH requires RN's complete Medication Testing once on site (to be completed within first two weeks), unit specific orientation.
