We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Defense Litigation Paralegal with 2+ years of experience to join a prestigious law firm known for its commitment to excellence and client advocacy. What You'll Do

  • Support top-tier litigation attorneys in complex cases from inception through trial.
  • Manage case files across multiple jurisdictions, including State Courts and Federal Courts.
  • Utilize legal technology platforms to file, track, and manage litigation documents efficiently.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research, document review, and case preparation to drive successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate discovery, draft pleadings, and prepare trial exhibits with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Liaise with courts, clients, and expert witnesses to keep cases moving seamlessly.
  • Maintain strict deadlines and anticipate attorneys' needs in a proactive, solutions-driven manner.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of litigation experience in a fast-paced legal setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Louisiana State Court procedures and Federal Court filing systems.
  • Exceptional ability to manage complex case files and deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Tech-savvy mindset with experience using legal software and e-discovery platforms.
  • A team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification preferred.
