Private Equity M&A – Senior Associate

Overview

Goodwin seeks a highly qualified associate with 5+ years of experience to join our Private Equity Group. Candidate must have experience both working in teams and in managing components of transactions independently, with specific experience in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital transactions and exits and equity compensation. Candidate must be proactive, with a strong business sense, stellar communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships.

Qualifications

• Outstanding academic credentials
• Comparable law firm experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• New York Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
• Deal sheet required
