Job descriptionAdministering care tailored to the physical and emotional needs of residents as per their care plans. Conducting routine tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and recording vital signs. Assisting with mobility, repositioning, and walking using correct transfer techniques. Enhancing dining experiences by aiding residents during meal times. Documenting resident interactions and communicating any changes in condition to the nursing team. Providing basic housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a clean living environment. High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory. Minimum age of 16 years old. Prior experience in long-term care is preferred. Must possess or be enrolled in a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program, obtaining certification within four months of starting. Annual completion of competency testing and continuing education (minimum of 12 hours required). For some states, registration with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry is required. Salary Range : $19.00 - $25.50
Pay Info : $5000 Sign-On Bonus
Department Details
- $5.00 per hour shift differential
- $2.50 per hour travel differential
- Weekend / night shift differentials
- Must have availability to work various shifts to meet the center's needs.
Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides essential caregiver support to residents in long-term care during scheduled shifts. Responsibilities include delivering resident-centered care and assistance with daily living activities under the oversight of a registered nurse (RN). You will also be involved in :
