Job description

Delivery Associate

Responsibilities :

  • Safely operate a delivery van (Extended Cargo Van or Step Van) to deliver Amazon packages to customers
  • Always conduct yourself in a highly ethical and professional manner
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and paperwork
  • Load vans and deliver packages by driving, climbing in / out of the vehicle, and walking upstairs and through driveways in all weather conditions (we deliver year-round!)
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent Amazon with professionalism
  • Solving problems independently using critical thinking skills
  • Show excellent attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Work effectively with a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Operate a smartphone for GPS navigation and daily logs

    Blue Ridge NC Logistics LLC is now hiring Delivery Associates to join our team at the Amazon warehouse located in Tarboro, NC. We are looking for reliable, motivated, and safety-focused individuals who are ready to grow with us.

    Requirements :

  • Be 21 years of age or older
  • Hold a valid NC driver's license (no CDL required)
  • Have a clean driving record.
  • Be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Be fluent in English (bilingual a plus)
  • Have a proven track record of reliability
  • Be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks such as climbing stairs, squatting, and bending during an 810 hour shift

    • Preferred Qualifications (not required but highly valued) :

  • Previous delivery experience
  • Experience driving large vehicles
  • Military, EMS, Fire Department, or Law Enforcement background
