Staff Systems Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Systems Engineer - Low Latency & Networking.

Key Responsibilities

Debug and optimize end-to-end network performance, including NIC tuning and congestion control

Analyze network traffic and protocol behavior using tools like tcpdump and Wireshark

Develop custom tooling and read Linux kernel source for debugging and performance tuning

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in systems programming, networking, or performance-critical infrastructure

Deep expertise in Linux, including kernel behavior and networking internals

Proficiency with packet analysis and network debugging tools

Strong programming fundamentals with experience in Rust, C, or C++

Track record of diagnosing complex issues across application, OS, and hardware layers
