Department / Unit : EmUrgent Care - BrunswickWork Shift : Day (United States of America)Salary Range : $60,367.47 - $90,551.20Join our team and be part of something BIG.Join our team and be part of something BIG.Imagine how good it would feel to provide state-of-the-art care to people who need it each day.World-Class specialty care closer to home.Welcome to Albany Medical Center, providing excellent care to our community each day.  We have an exciting opportunity for Medical Imaging Techs to join our team.   An ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, both independently and on a team.   This is a per diem position with a monthly requirement of 12 hours.  This is an onsite position at the Brunswick EmUrgentCare, with some travel required.Primary Job Responsibilities : Properly identify and prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform diagnostic x-ray exams following established protocols and procedures for patient care and safety in an outpatient urgent care settingAccurately select the correct patient, anatomy and protocols to complete examConfirm, schedule and log completed radiologic procedures in computer and site schedulesClean and always maintain equipment and examination roomsCollect vitals and brief medical history of patientsDirecting patients to examination roomsEnsuring rooms are setup for efficient patient careOrdering and re-stocking of medical suppliesTeam support to medical providers and front deskEducation Requirements : Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program requiredAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registrationApplicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist requiredExperience : Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide basic x-ray proceduresKnowledge of anatomy, physiology and body mechanics necessary to safely perform x-ray examsBasic knowledge of radiology equipment including safety hazards common to radiologyAbility to communicate clearly and provide routine diagnostic imaging procedures to children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients with consideration to cultural and developmental stages during the exam processMulti-tasking as a team player in a fast-paced settingExcellent customer service skillsThank you for your interest in Albany Medical Center!?Albany Medical is an equal opportunity employer.This role may require access to information considered sensitive to Albany Medical Center, its patients, affiliates, and partners, including but not limited to HIPAA Protected Health Information and other information regulated by Federal and New York State statutes.
