Responsibilities Work in a 12-bed, private-room Pediatric ICU within a hospital setting Cares for critically ill or injured infants, children, and teens, including pediatric transport patients May be required to float to the NICU as needed, typically assigned to stable infants requiring oxygen or antibiotics Uses EPIC EMR system; prior EPIC experience required Night shift position, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM, 3x12 hour shifts per week Every other weekend and holiday rotation if scheduled No on-call requirements Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team with pediatric critical care physicians New hires will complete a 16-hour on-boarding orientation Family-centered care environment with modern amenities and support spaces Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, Thanksgiving) Requests for time off are limited to one day between 11 / 26-11 / 30 and 12 / 23-1 / 2 Locals within 50 miles are accepted with an adjusted pay rate Scrub requirements and dress code to be provided at orientation Requirements Active IA or compact RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS and PALS (AHA) certifications required Minimum 2 years of current PICU experience Critical care experience strongly encouraged Previous experience with EPIC EMR required Must be willing to float to NICU Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-611384.
