Senior CEI Inspector & Entry-Level Inspector

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We are actively seeking skilled Senior CEI Inspectors and enthusiastic Entry-Level CEI Inspectors to join our dynamic team in Florida. This is a fantastic opportunity to support projects within our Southeast Region.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of construction inspection experience, with at least one (1) year in bridge and/or roadway construction OR hold a Civil Engineering degree with Engineer Intern certification.
• Commitment to obtaining required qualifications and certifications within one year (provided by Volkert) including FDOT certifications.
• A valid driver's license and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening in compliance with federal guidelines.
• A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
• If required, successfully complete a post-offer fit-for-duty evaluation.

Your Role:

• Perform engineering computations and checks.
• Inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conduct field tests to verify material and project quality.
• Compile daily inspection reports and document test results and observations.
• Assist with record keeping and field measurements as required.
• Work collaboratively under the supervision of the Project Administrator.
