ASSEMBLER I-SWITCH AIR

Overview

Positions parts in specified relationships with each other, using hands, tweezers, or tongs. Bolts, screws, clips, cement, or otherwise fasten parts together by hand or using hand tools or portable power tools. Frequently work at a bench as a member of the assembly group assembling one or two specific parts and passing units to another worker.

Hourly Rate : $18.00 - $20.00

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to read and understand Assembly Traveler instructions
• Must understand general blueprint / sectional drawings
• Ability to use measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, rulers and pressure gauges
• Knowledge of basic shop math
• Basic understanding of Sub-Assembly, Rough Set, Synchronization and Final Test processes
• Familiar with ATP / FTP documentation
• Must be able to set up and utilize ATP / FTP test bench stations
• Must be proficient in using hand tools
• Ability to read and understand Bill of Materials
• May assist leads and supervisors in assigning work and training
• Performs other duties as required and assigned
