Essential Functions
The director of technical operations (aseptic) is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our aseptic lines including their batch rooms. The responsibilities include but not limited to setting the program for preventative and predictive maintenance, designing the maintenance contracts and responsible for its execution, plant maintenance audits, troubleshooting plant issues related to equipment, management of FAT for batching room and aseptic blocks.

Partner with process engineering, plant teams and OEM to trouble shoot the issue, define the corrective action and implementation.Develop, monitor, and report performance indicators to highlight progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.Lead and develop team members with robust training materials to successfully meet the company's objectives, creating a competitive advantage and ensuring team members learn from your expertise.Responsible for managing the SG&A budget for the team and performance management of team members.Mentor our plant maintenance managers, in partnership with the plant directors on optimal aseptic business practices.Liaise between various support groups to ensure alignment on the vision of success for aseptic and integration into Niagara's existing business model.Work closely with external manufacturing partners to ensure proper integration of new business to meet company and program goals.Identify new technology to further improve the overall batching operation, mainly aseptic.Qualifications

Ideal candidate has a BS degree in biology or an engineering discipline with an MBA. Ability to negotiate, collaborate and influence. Ability to analyze data and find / mitigate risk. Results driven and ability to communicate. Experience working in a food manufacturing environment. Ability to identify weak spots in a process to improve efficiency. Great planning and project management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Open to travel up to 50-60% of the time to our aseptic and beverage plant operations.
