Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDT-C)

10 Month Full-Time; Tenure Track

Qualifications / Required :

  • NJDOE Educational Services Certificate Learning Disabilities Teacher- Consultant

(3300).

  • Knowledgeable of NJ Administrative Code for Special Education.
  • Ability to perform required services as a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant.
  • 3 years of teaching experience.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and community agencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

    • Qualifications / Desired :

  • 2-3 years of experience as a LDT-C preferred.
  • NJDOE Supervisor Certificate (0106) preferred.
  • Experience working in a public school setting.
  • Experience in case management of students with disabilities.
  • Proficient in making data driven decisions with regard to student placement.
  • Experience working with a wide range of students from elementary to secondary.

    • Satisfactory completion of a criminal history background check and district employment

    packet required.
