Project Engineer / APM - $30M Wastewater Project

Job Description

The responsibilities of the Project Engineer :

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project operations on active jobs.
• Support the $26M Water Treatment Plant project in Plainville, MA through documentation, coordination, and communication.
• Contribute to preconstruction efforts by assisting with bidding processes (5-10 projects per month).
• Review and process submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Track project schedules, costs, and procurement activities.
• Support project close-out documentation and final reporting.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards on assigned projects.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Project Engineer :

• 1-2 years of construction experience (open to slightly less or more).
• Civil construction background strongly preferred; wastewater experience is a major plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, team-oriented environment.
• Must be commutable to Halifax, MA (no hybrid / remote).

• Base salary : $70,000-$80,000 (up to $85K-$90K for candidates with 3+ years of strong relevant experience).
