Position Summary

Position : Financial Consultant

Location : 102 W. Pineloch Suite 23

Schedule : Monday - Friday | 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Position Overview

As a Financial Consultant , you will be responsible for the creation, execution, and refinement of financial analyses, accounting processes, reporting, reimbursement strategies, and fundraising activities. This role plays a key part in supporting finance and accounting operations that drive organizational success.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial & Business Support
  • Assist with business planning, budgeting (operating & capital), and accounting processes.

  • Support cost accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory filings.
  • Data & Reporting
  • Deliver accurate and timely data for strategic decisions and compliance.

  • Ensure internal and external financial reports are precise and reliable.
  • Project Management
  • Provide resources and expertise to complete finance-related projects effectively and on time.

  • Attendance & Compliance
  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance in line with Orlando Health policies and legal standards (ADA, FMLA, etc.).

  • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Qualifications

    Education & Training

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance , Business Administration , Accounting , or a related field
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or a Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field may substitute for up to two (2) years of required experience
  • Experience

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in :
  • Financial analysis and planning

  • Accounting and reimbursement
  • Public or philanthropic accounting / finance
  • Consulting
  • Strong proficiency in spreadsheet and database programs (e.g., Excel, financial systems)
  • Licensure / Certification

  • CPA preferred
  • Advanced degree may substitute for partial experience
