Sales Territory : Memphis TN, Tupelo MS, Jonesboro AR

Hours : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Schedule : Monday to Friday

Compensation : Base Salary : $58,000 + Lucrative Uncapped Commission Potential

  • Average Commission Year One : $20,000 - $35,000
  • Average Commission Year Two : $45,000 - $85,000

Role Overview

The Business Development Executive (BDE) will focus on generating new customer business in their designated sales territory. You will educate prospects on Ryder's value propositions through our tailored Sales Process, create strategic sales plans, and analyze profitability to navigate competitive landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop a pre-sales strategy to engage target accounts, build a robust sales activity pipeline, and consistently meet or exceed revenue quotas.
  • Perform quality needs assessments to understand prospect requirements and develop compelling, value-based proposals.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure smooth account transitions and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Maintain clear and regular communication of sales activities and progress to management.
  • Continuously enhance sales skills and industry knowledge for personal and professional growth.
  • Skills & Qualifications :

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities at all organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and effective follow-up practices.
  • Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales performance with consistent achievement of quotas.
  • Deep understanding of Ryder's product offerings and the ability to communicate these effectively to potential customers.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Travel : No travel required.

    Compensation Details :

    The offered compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, and internal equity considerations.
