Job Description

• Lead ground up affordable housing and LIHTC preservation projects in NY
• Coordinate and supervise all MEP activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Review design documents and provide input to optimize efficiency and functionality.
• Resolve technical issues related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems promptly and effectively.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including reports and schedules.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and regulations in the Bronx.
• Train and mentor site staff to promote professional growth and knowledge sharing.

The Successful Applicant

A successful MEP Superintendent / Project Manager should have :

• A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects.
• Proven experience managing MEP aspects of construction within the Property industry.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations specific to the Bronx area.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• A detail-oriented approach and the ability to solve complex technical issues.
