About the Role :

The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the reliable operation of stamping presses and related production equipment. This position focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with hydraulic, mechanical, or servo-driven presses and a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices.

Responsibilities :

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on stamping presses and auxiliary equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Replace and align worn or damaged components, including bearings, gears, seals, and cylinders.
• Collaborate with production teams to coordinate repairs and reduce equipment downtime.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records, logs, and documentation.
• Conduct press calibration checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
• Follow lockout / tagout procedures and all OSHA safety regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
