Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections - SCI Pine Grove

THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing of the psychological services program for SCI Pine Grove. Your work will involve coordinating the psychological services program in the institution with other disciplines, as well as developing and writing new policies and procedures for existing programs. This will include consulting with psychiatry and medical staff and performing psychological testing and evaluation of inmates. Your duties will also include performing individual and group counseling, managing a counseling program for adjustment to daily living, and participating in research projects. Additionally, you will serve as Chairman for a variety of teams and committees including the population Psychiatric Review Team and participate as a member of the Clinical review Team for suicides and attempted suicides.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
• Telework : You will not have the option to telework in this position.
