Zaden Technologies specializes in designing secure, scalable software ecosystems for critical defense programs. We operate as a DevSecOps-driven engineering firm, supporting the next generation of missile defense, space, and C4ISR systems. Our teams leverage automation, compliance, and creativity across secure cloud and hybrid environments.

We are looking for a Principal Cloud DevSecOps Architect to lead Azure IL4IL6 architecture, GitOps delivery, and Continuous ATO automation for our defense programs. In this critical role, you will define technical strategies, guide DevSecOps engineers, and work closely with program cyber leadership to cultivate secure, compliant, and scalable cloud platforms underpinning mission-critical DoD systems.

Role Responsibilities :

• Design the enterprise blueprint for Azure Government IL4IL6 landing zones, including networking, identity, and observability.
• Drive GitOps operations using AKS, Helm, and FluxCD; streamline multi-environment promotion and drift management.
• Implement Continuous ATO by generating RMF evidence and compliance artifacts directly from CI / CD pipelines.
• Oversee supply-chain security through SBOM generation, artifact signing, and container hardening using Iron Bank and STIG baselines.
• Mentor and guide engineers to standardize module catalogs, establish golden images, and define compliance guardrails utilizing policy-as-code (OPA / Gatekeeper).
• Collaborate with primes, subcontractors, and government stakeholders to align accreditation strategies and delivery timelines.

The pay range for this role is :

158,946 - 189,472 USD per year (Zaden Technologies HQ)
