About the Role / Responsibilities of Assistant Director of Finance :

Assist with the primary responsibility for financial management of the organization in collaboration with and under the supervision of the Director of Finance

Assist in performing all aspects of financial reporting, both internally and externally

Assist in enforcing financial controls and policies across the organization

Perform daily accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, tracking of donor

restricted funds and release from restriction, preparing bank deposits, as well as monitoring

online banking activity.

Perform monthly accounting functions including reconciliation of all bank accounts, review of monthly

expenses in Accounting system, reconciliation of internal charge account, reconciliation of credit card statements.

Work closely with senior leadership to best strategically align organization's financial growth and goals

Qualifications of Assistant Director of Finance :

5+ years of relevant work experience in Accounting (non-profit sector preferred)

Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA in Finance and the CPA or CMA or CFA designations

Quick learner, superb attention to detail

Able to work in highly diverse environment, maintain confidentiality, strong customer service skills
