3rd Shift Production & Sanitation Manager

A well-established food manufacturer is seeking a driven and hands-on 3rd Shift Production & Sanitation Manager to lead operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This individual will oversee all aspects of production and sanitation, driving performance across safety, quality, yield, and efficiency while maintaining the highest regulatory and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage all production and sanitation operations on 3rd shift
• Set and adjust production schedules to meet customer demand
• Oversee machine operation and coordinate material flow across departments
• Monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, yield, and efficiency
• Coach, develop, and engage a diverse hourly team to achieve departmental goals
• Ensure full compliance with GMP, HACCP, OSHA, USDA, and FDA standards
• Partner cross-functionally with Sanitation, Maintenance, HR, and Quality teams
• Identify and implement cost-saving and waste-reduction opportunities
• Utilize systems such as ShopLogix and Safety Chain for data and performance tracking
• Manage timekeeping, scheduling, and shift reporting to ensure smooth operations

Work Environment :

This role is based in a cold, wet, high-volume food production facility and requires regular standing, walking, and oversight of multiple departments. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting.
