The Danaher Business System Office (DBSO) Director Innovation Strategy offers you a chance to deeply engage with Danaher's mission "Innovation at the speed of life" and drive meaningful growth in innovation. You will leverage your expertise to influence at all organizational levels.

This position reports to the Sr. Director DBSO Innovation and is part of the Corporate DBS Office. This will be a remote role based in the USA.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Drive innovation growth by coaching leaders to lead with Danaher Business System : applying Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and fostering an inclusive culture
  • Own and execute a collaboration agreement between an Operating Company and Danaher Business System Office (DBSO) that enables the Operating Company's success through implementation and sustainment of Danaher Business System principles
  • Guide strategic innovation initiatives, ensuring alignment with Innovation KPIs (IFV / IPV, project OTD, Revenue Achievement) and mentoring teams to achieve excellence
  • Lead through influencing all levels of the organization from senior leaders, functional leaders to practitioners. Balancing coaching associates with differing strengths in discovery and delivery skills
  • Advocate for innovation, managing a specific tool to promote widespread adoption and sharing best practices

The essential requirements of the job include :

  • You are currently a Product / Portfolio leader with a consistent track record meeting 80%+ Revenue Achievement in the last 3 years. Bachelor's or Master's degree in science or technology with 8+ years' experience in Product Management or Product Marketing or Strategy
  • Proven track record leading global product portfolios end-to-end, from ideation to launch and lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience in defining proprietary segmentation, product portfolio strategies, product roadmap, and value-based pricing that outgrows the market.
  • Able to navigate from "big problem" to "specific issue" with humility and curiosity while dealing with ambiguity. Self-driven with a continuous improvement and growth mindset
  • 3 years of experience coaching senior leaders (L1 or above) by leveraging facts / data and asking critical questions to get to true "root causes". Repeated success in delivering results through the application of Danaher Business System (e.g. Solving problems with PSP, leveraging Daily and Visual Management), Customer Insight (CI); Customer-Centric Product Definition (CPD), Launch Excellence (LEX) and Differentiated and Defensible Value (DDV)
  • Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical / Environment Requirements :

  • Willingness to travel internationally; minimum of 50%, and up to 70%
  • It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :

  • Current Advanced Certified Practitioner, or Certified Practitioner in at least 1 of the following Danaher Business System Innovation tools : Customer Insight (CI); Customer-Centric Product Definition (CPD), Launch Excellence (LEX)
  • Hands-on experience in leading Policy Deployment (PD)
  • Comfortable with remote working
  • Skilled at collaborating with teams both remotely and in person to apply innovation best practices, overcome challenges, and accelerate progress.

    The annual salary range for this role is $180,000-$220,000 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

    This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.
