• Identify, test, analyze, and select plastic polymers.
• Develop and review part designs for manufacturability and meet with product design team to recommend changes.
• Calculate : clamp pressure requirements; shot size, speed, and pressure; flow restrictions; air entrapment and venting issues; flashing; weld lines; etc.
• Design, test, and execute manufacturing process requirements.
