Job description

Our client, a leader in the food production industry, is seeking a RD&A Technician (1st Shift) to join their team. As a RD&A Technician, you will be part of the laboratory and pilot scale food production environment supporting various functions within the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : RD&A Technician

Location : Lakeland, FL

Pay Range : $22-27 / hour

Shift : 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

Work in laboratory and pilot scale food production environment to prepare samples for internal and external use.
Collaborate with other functions within the organization to ensure smooth processing of sample preparation.
Maintain accurate records of sample preparation and laboratory activities.
Assist in the development and testing of new food products.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all laboratory procedures.

What's Needed?

Technical or Associates degree in the Science industry

GMP, sanitation, and food safety quality understanding and experience

Strong skills in Problem solving, attention to detail, and Microsoft.

Experience with measuring and testing, liquid blending, chemical handling, raw material handling, tand ICT programs

Knowledge surrounding cluster technology

Ability to color and odor detect and use of measuring tools
