Title : Manufacturing Engineer – Maintenance Support (Hands-On Role)

Salary : $80,000 to $110,000

Location : Austintown, OH

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 6 AM–5 PM (Flexible start time; occasional weekend or travel to Pulaski, VA)

Maintenance / Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities :

Support maintenance team with troubleshooting and problem-solving on the production floor

Assist with sourcing, ordering, and cost-effective procurement of machine parts

Interpret machine drawings, schematics, blueprints, manuals, and SolidWorks / CAD files

Provide hands-on mechanical / electrical support and collaborate directly with maintenance technicians

Work 80% on the floor and 20% in-office conducting research and technical review

Partner with a small team to execute individual and collaborative projects

Report directly to the Engineering Manager

About you :

Mechanical Engineering degree or related degree highly preferred

Hands-on mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing environment

Exposure to CNC machinery and related systems

Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivated, able to work independently on the floor

SolidWorks and / or CAD experience is a plus

• Must be able to perform the following physical demands with or without accommodation :
• Position may require person to be on their feet to 8-10 hours standing or walking in a heavy manufacturing environment, constantly performing regularly scheduled maintenance duties
• Ability to lift objects weighing more than 50 pounds infrequently
• Ability to safely operate forklift, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment
• Ability to see and hear in order to perform the functions of this position
