Medical Assistant / Patient Support Assistant (MA / PSA)

Hourly Pay Range : $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position : Medical Assistant / Patient Support Assistant (MA / PSA)

Location : Highland Park, IL

Full Time : Hours : Monday-Friday : 8 : 00 am-4 : 30 pm

What you will do :

• Answer phones
• Schedule appointments
• Collect co-payments
• Complete patient registration
• Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
• Check in and check out patient
• Verify insurances
• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required
