Senior Track Engineer
A well-established company is currently looking for an experienced Senior Track Engineer to provide on-site project engineering and management expertise
Responsibilities :
- Perform engineering-related tasks including research, development, design and delivery of the assigned project(s)
- Manage and deliver quality transit / rail services on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client
- This position will focus on the track engineering and infrastructure side of rail transportation projects
- The Senior l Track Engineer will prepare, direct and manage layouts of railroad track alignments for both transit and freight rail within rail / transit and multi-discipline teams
- Perform quantity estimates, detailing and checking calculations and drawings; organizing scheduling of specific tasks and assignments
Key requirements :
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering or a related discipline8+ years of demonstrated experience on various types of rail projectsProfessional engineering license in the U.SProficiency in CADD software used in civil and rail design, such as design platforms based on MicroStation or AutoCADDesign report, cost estimate and specificationsExperience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environmentProject management experienceLocations : Nebraska, Maryland, and Georgia
