At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for an Inspector to join our team in Springfield, MA!
The working hours of this role are second shift 1230-2100 Monday – Friday.

Doncasters Forgings of Springfield, Storms Forge, is rich in knowledge, history, and experience, as it has been producing products for 100 years. Storms Forge produces components that go into aerospace, power generation, oil and gas and industrial markets. Here at Storms Forge, we specialize in working with titanium, high temperature stainless steel and nickel- based specialty alloys.
Some of the products produced at Storms Forge include airframe ready components, blades, vanes, compressor air foils and many more that keep the world in motion!
Storms Forge, based in Massachusetts, is one of our smaller sites and has a dedicated, specialist team of around 30 employees. Storms Forge takes part in many voluntary charity initiatives and takes pride in their surrounding community.
What we can offer you:
The Role
As an inspector, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of standards in our operations. You’ll utilise your skills in visual and dimensional inspection, using hand tools, gauges, and associated testing equipment to ensure precision and accuracy. In this hands-on role, you’ll also get to perform and assist in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections, including penetrant and magnetic particle inspections, ensuring the integrity and safety of our products.
But that’s not all – your expertise will extend to calibrating essential quality control equipment, keeping out processes running smoothly. You also can take on a variety of tasks that can challenge and broaden your skill set, making everyday an exciting opportunity to contribute to excellence.
