Responsibilities

• Provide practical, business‑forward counseling on product, commercial, and regulatory issues across a fast‑moving environment.
• Create the legal process for the tech product lifecycle (PRDs, experiments, launch reviews) to embed privacy‑by‑design and consumer‑protection best practices.
• Lead and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including IOs, data‑sharing, measurement, and platform terms; advise on FTC Endorsement Guides, claims substantiation, testimonials / UGC, and promotional rules.
• Build and mature legal systems, processes, and templates that improve speed and consistency (e.g., playbooks, self‑serve tools, and CLM workflows).
• Create and maintain scalable templates (MSAs, DPAs), clause libraries, and escalation matrices.
• Manage outside counsel efficiently and develop fit‑for‑purpose engagement strategies.
• Deliver training for GTM, Product, and Ops; drive policy updates and legal communications to the business.

Compensation

The starting salary range for this role is $215,385.00 to $258,462.00 , representing the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this position. Your starting salary within this range will be determined based on your skills, experience, and work location, with future adjustments informed by role growth, performance, and internal pay equity.
