Description

• Assess patients of all ages-pediatric, adult, and geriatric-using various standardized evaluations and keen observation.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that address both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions focusing on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate closely with physical, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to design cohesive and effective care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and their families to sustain progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in the occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Keep pace with developments in the field by pursuing continuing education and engaging with peers.
