Kestrel Kitchen at the Indian Wells Golf Resort has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Large Party Coordinator. This is a full-time position offering a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
The Large Party Coordinator will be responsible for managing reservations and events for large parties, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, and coordinating with the service and culinary teams to deliver seamless events.
Compensation : $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
General Purpose : Details and coordinates all large party needs for Kestrel.
Essential Duties :
- Contacts clients face-to-face, by telephone and / or email, to confirm, coordinate and update details for scheduled party.
- Makes weekly sales calls.
- Details each group's needs, which may include but is not limited to menu planning, mealtime and room set up.
- Conducts facility tours and site visit for groups assigned.
- Tracks all guarantees and deadlines based on contract.
- Coordinates with Food and Beverage department to ensure specified arrangements are carried out as planned.
- Completes projects as directed in relation to the area of responsibility.
- Works with Food and Beverage Leadership to coordinate staff, which may include servers, hosts, set up staff, etc.
- Present at all large party events.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction.
- Upsell to achieve goals.
- Work harmoniously with other departments to ensure the event is flawless.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Ensures accurate and timely invoicing for all services rendered, to include recording events on the POS.
Education / Experience :
Associate's degree (AA) and or one to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.This position requires a strong understanding of food and beverage operations to effectively coordinate events, collaborate with culinary and service teams, and ensure seamless guest experiences.Physical Demands :
Frequently stands, walks, sits, talks and hears; regularly uses hands; regularly reaches with hands and arms; occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, tastes or smells.Frequently lifts up to 20 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.Environment / Noise :
Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.Certificates / Licenses : Food Handler's, RBS.Driver's License may be required.Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences :
