About The Position

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

Experience in neuro stepdown and cardiac telemetry.

Skills in IV starts, port access, PICC, central and peripheral line care, and blood product administration.

Experience in respiratory care including trach management, oxygen delivery systems, and ABG interpretation.

Familiarity with GI care, feeding tube management, and medication protocols.

Competence in cardiovascular care including post-myocardial infarction management and telemetry monitoring.

Ability to provide wound care and manage rapid response situations.

Description :

This position requires the nurse to work full-time nights.

Weekly work schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts.

The contract offers an option for 13 to 20 weeks.

The nurse must work two out of three major holidays.

There will be no time off during the week between Christmas and New Year.

Clinicians should have experience with adult patient populations.

Floating to other units or campuses may be required as needed.

All schedule requests must be submitted with the application.

The facility policy permits calling off one shift every two weeks.

Experience with electronic medical record systems is required.

Travelers are required to float to other units based on competency.

All skills mentioned must be demonstrated and documented.

Candidates must provide a complete list of requested time off during submission.
