Junior Accountant

Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in accounting and QuickBooks, with strong attention to accuracy and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves handling day-to-day financial transactions, supporting the accounting department, and ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.

Responsibilities :

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
• Enter bills and daily key financial transactions into QuickBooks.
• Import credit card transactions into QuickBooks.
• Run expense reports for cases as needed.
• Assist and support company personnel with accounting-related tasks.
• Maintain filing and record-keeping systems.
• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.

Work Environment :

This position requires working on-site for five days a week, from 9 am to 5 pm.

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
